I can't even imagine what seeing your name on a cover feels like! Unreal, I guess :) The most exciting that happened to me lately was finishing a first draft. It's always a pleasure to type "The End".

Those look awesome! Get used to it, Lynda. I'm sure it will happen many more times. I never received a poster from my publisher, but the best-seller postcards really really cool.

First, congratulations to you!! I like that a book plate is part of your package.
Separately, I would be interested in reading your book this summer. If you or your publisher would be interested in sending me a review copy, I would be happy to read it and possibly promote it.
To answer you question, I took on a new job that pays me in real, credit card debt relieving, money! Sadly, my first novel is still in draft phase. I do still write 500 words a day above and beyond the job and my blogging efforts.
The only exciting happening with me is that I'm leaving for China next month.
