Today I'm over at the Insecure Writer's Support Group with an article about 10 Ways to Maintain Writing Momentum. Please pop on over to check it out.
In the meanwhile, here is a pic I took at Australia Zoo...giggle.
What's been happening for you lately? How has your writing momentum been going?

That's such a clever photo. At first glance, I thought they were real owls.
I thought they were real too at first.
those owls look like you had a strange haircut when you visited them
lol you scared them and they froze that way, geez.
Love the pic! No momentum for me, which is why I'm heading over to check it out.
My momentum needs a kick in the rear!
Hi Lynda! The photo is so precious. I love owls.
I'm gaining momentum now that I've finally settled on which project to work on exclusively. I tried revising one ms. while writing new stuff on another and it was just too overwhelming.
Cool, heading over to check it out:)
That's a great list. You hit all the good ones.
Shh, don't tell them they aren't real.
hehehee. But so cute!
You mean shocked? "What did she do to her hair? Eeek!!!" I get that a lot...
Yarp, I'm such a meanie.
Hope the article helps
Yep, so does mine, which is why I wrote the article.
Yeah, I've tried to work on more than one project at a time, but it really does take some serious discipline to do it right. I work far better when I'm totally focused on one thing.
Hope you like it.
Thanks, Susan.
Great post, Lynda. I bookmarked. Love the cute photo.
Been chipping away on my latest project and so far I've got 8 complete chapters totaling just a shade over 40K words.
I Are Writer!
Hi Lynda - love the owls ... amusing! Clever photo ... I now need to check the post ... cheers Hilary
I'm not a writer, I'm too lazy, but when I saw your photograph I said Aw. I linked this post to Awww Mondays. Thanks for visiting Comedy Plus.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Ditto on the real at first glance. Clever picture.
I love this photo!! :)
Fantastic photo. I did the equivalent of a double take really see the owl. teehee
Headed over. =)
Getting started is always easy for me; it's staying the course that's the real challenge. Enjoyed your post on #IWSG.
Love that image! My writing has been up and down lately - 2,600 words one day, zero the next, and so on ...
I guess I'll finish my WIP eventually.
I'm glad you liked the post. Thanks, Joylene.
That's so awesome!!
Thanks, Hilary
Ha, thanks so much.
I felt a bit conspicuous taking the photo in the gift shop, but it was worth it.
Hehehe, thanks, Terri
hehehe. Thanks, Holly
Yay!
Oh yes, staying the course, especially when the manuscript is in total mess, is a difficult one.
Gotta like the 2600, though! And yes you will finish it if you stick with it.
I haven't seen those little critters. Too cute! My writing is a hard taskmaster ATM, but I'm lovin' it.
OMG Those owls are the cutest. Maybe someone told them they were cute and they didn't think so, so it shocked them.
That photo is so cute. Me? I'm writing on!
You'll find them in the gift shop ;)
hahaha you might be onto something there.
Write on! Great to hear!
That's one fantastic picture, Lynda. Love it. Those eyes. :) Oh my writing has been terrible of late. It's called fatigue mixed with a tad of writer's blog. Other than that, it's all good :))
Blue
Ah, fatigue... I know it well.
Good to hear things are mostly good, though.
Don't tell me you suffer from chronic fatigue too, Linda.
Only when I'm stressed. Unfortunately there has been a lot of stress in my life lately.
