While I may not be taking on the full A-Z Challenge, I have picked up a few letters via the Insecure Writers Support Group website. Today's letter is M and I've written a short piece about how to revive your motivation when it flags. I'd love to see you over there.
Because I'm super busy at the moment with writing, game development and life in general, I won't be posting here until next month, so I'll let you know I also have the letters T and Z on the IWSG website, so be sure to check them out.
Update 23rd April: T is for Time as a Friend
Update 30th April: The Power of Zero
How has April been for you so far?
How has it been? Busy beyond all reason!
ReplyDeleteI don't doubt it. And I'm still in awe over how you manage it.
DeleteApril came too soon!
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I think I'm still stuck back in September last year, lol.
DeleteHope everything is coming along well.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully!! I hope to share a little more on the next IWSG posting day.
DeleteBusy but A to Z only comes around once a year so I dive head first into it.

M is for Movies
I must admit, I admire anyone who can complete the challenge in full. Impressive!
DeleteYou have been super busy, I haven't seen you around in days.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the problem with taking on a lot more than I ever have before. I have to schedule my days very carefully to get it all done.
DeleteGreat you're so busy. Me too. Good for you taking a break from blogging to get things done.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's necessary to take that break. And I do love being busy.
DeleteWill hope on over, better to be busy than bored
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly! Thanks for popping over, Pat.
DeleteIt's good to take a break when you need to revitalize or take care of business. We all need that especially in today's busy world.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm not doing postings everyday--my work schedule just won't allow for it so I do what I can and when. I'm having fun with the letters I'm doing.

Doing what we can is all we can do. There's no sense putting unneeded pressure on ourselves.
DeleteI'm not sure where I am anymore. I just show up at the computer and hope I'm in the right place.
ReplyDeletehahaha, I can relate!
DeleteI lack real writing motivation right now, myself, but I just keep reading and going to writing group in hopes it comes back.
ReplyDeleteContinuing to read is so important. Your motivation will come back.
DeleteHeading over to check it out! Great topic! :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
Thanks, Jess.
DeleteOff to check it out. Busy, but having a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteHaving fun while being busy is the key :)
DeleteI'll check out the link.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Medeia
DeleteThanks Lynda, I'm on my way over.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Spacer :)
DeleteGlad you got a few letters in. April is proving to be a Challenging month.
ReplyDeleteScribbles From Jenn - Visiting from the A to Z Challenge
I did the full A-Z challenge for two years. It's called a challenge for a reason ;)
DeleteGood luck, and I'm on my way over to view your post now! Lisa, co-host AtoZ 2015, @ http://www.lisabuiecollard.com
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa
DeleteEven though writing is a lonely endeavor. No one is going to write for you. You don't have to be a hermit! I love my CPs, beta-readers, & Twitter and blogging friends.
ReplyDeleteWell said! And being a hermit is a mistake in the long run. For so many reasons.
DeleteJumping over now!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ken
DeleteSee you there :)

DeleteMy April has been pretty awesome, busy but good:) Thanks again for all your editing help...my agent liked Shieldmaiden and I know it's because I cut all the "smirking" down;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised your agent liked Shieldmaiden. It's a great story --even with the smirking!! ;)
DeleteHa! Reviving my writing when it flags is EXACTLY how I feel right now :)
ReplyDeleteDon't think I will do the A-Z next year, but at least I can say I did it once:)
The A-Z is certainly something worth doing at least once.
DeleteLike you, I'm in awe over how Alex makes it look so easy. He's amazing. Great post, Lynda.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteAnd thanks, Joylene
Busy with the Challenge! headed over to the IWSG to check out your Motivation post!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Li. I hope you're enjoying the challenge :)
DeleteApril has been crazy busy. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnna from Elements of Writing
Yes indeedy!
DeleteYou all are inspiring to this blogger who can only find time to post once a month on two separate blogs: Adventures in Writing and Camping with Kids. I always learn much reading your blog, Lynda, and following your links to Insecure or wherever you send me. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are a huge encouragement. I've been super busy (and still am) but I'm kinda back-ish now sorta ;)
DeleteOooo, Lynda, some more letters to check out. I'm on my way. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your support, Victoria
