Is there a style of photography you like best?

Lichen on a picnic table - now that probably is something must people don't pay attention to.
I took a photography course for two years; part of my assignment was to take photos using sun light. I learned a great deal from the course and saw things that I'd never paid attention to before. I haven't done much with the camera since the course -however it I ever went back to it, I think light would be the spectrum that I would work with!

Those are great shots. I don't know that I've ever done much close photography because my camera's not sophisticated enough.
I love so many different kinds of photos. Close ups remind me of the fairy world - yours are gorgeous!
I like Macro, too. Especially if you capture one pic after another. I love to do this with Sir Poops and Hair Ball. You never know what expression you're going to get.
It's amazing how close you can get to things. Yes, I want to know too, did you take those? If yes, wow, you're amazing. Have a great weekend!
Amazing! I'm a hopeless photographer so all I can do is gaze at your pictures, mouth open. Keep going back to pigface - what a lovely name.
My daughter loves microphotography. She loves taking pictures of individual flowers.
I love close ups where you see every tiny detail. Makes you see just how much we miss if we don't look around.
I love wide vistas and scenery...not sure what such photography is called though!

I love taking pictures and I do try close ups at times - sometimes even successfully!
for some reason I've always loved moss and I could just look at it for hours. It's a very tranquil plant and very soothing.
Gorgeous photos as usual. Love the details of the macro shots--just fascinating. I like all types of photography.

Those are some great photos. I do like these kinds of close ups, especially when you can fill the frame with color from a brilliant flower or bird wing.

We don't get a lot of moss in Australia. I remember when I travelled to England for the first time. I couldn't believe how much moss grew everywhere. It was awesome.

Love these photos Lynda. I'm mad keen. If I had enough time I'd make my own photo library online. I've thought of doing a series of 'footprints' as following footprints in the sand is one of my quirks. Close ups of footprints in dryish sand can look like the Sahara Desert.
I missed your L post. I was travelling. I'll go read it now as libraries are another fetish of mine. I work in one and am going to set a mystery in one...

Great photos you have there. i like images where little details about a person or object is captured from an honest perspective, yet also a positive light. Hope that makes sense!
Knock my socks off. I, too, love the macro shots. All of those images are pure magic. I am truly impressed.
These are beautiful. I did a photography class in college and took some close up shots of flowers and gates in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens. They were nowhere near as good as these though!

So pretty!! I love macro, but haven't had a whole lot of success with it myself. I'm so tempted to buy a better lens (I have the cheapest, crappiest one ever) for some better shots, but I'd have to have money to do that!

I love taking close up shots of the flowers in our garden. I use them for my computer wallpaper. Better than the pre-prepared ones.

Great shots, Lynda! I love me some macro. It might be my favorite type of photography (other than pictures of my son, that is). I bought myself a semi-expensive macro lens about a year and a half ago, and haven't regretted it for a moment.
I love the last two photos! I like macro, and seeing small details, but I also enjoy massive landsccapes and the bigger picture, even if it's overwhelming sometimes.
