Today I'm over at the Insecure Writer's Support Group with an article about 10 Ways to Maintain Writing Momentum. Please pop on over to check it out.
In the meanwhile, here is a pic I took at Australia Zoo...giggle.
What's been happening for you lately? How has your writing momentum been going?
That's such a clever photo. At first glance, I thought they were real owls.
ReplyDeleteShh, don't tell them they aren't real.
DeleteI thought they were real too at first.
ReplyDeletehehehee. But so cute!
Deletethose owls look like you had a strange haircut when you visited them
ReplyDeleteYou mean shocked? "What did she do to her hair? Eeek!!!" I get that a lot...
Deletelol you scared them and they froze that way, geez.
ReplyDeleteYarp, I'm such a meanie.
DeleteLove the pic! No momentum for me, which is why I'm heading over to check it out.
ReplyDeleteHope the article helps
DeleteMy momentum needs a kick in the rear!
ReplyDeleteYep, so does mine, which is why I wrote the article.
DeleteHi Lynda! The photo is so precious. I love owls.
ReplyDeleteI'm gaining momentum now that I've finally settled on which project to work on exclusively. I tried revising one ms. while writing new stuff on another and it was just too overwhelming.
Yeah, I've tried to work on more than one project at a time, but it really does take some serious discipline to do it right. I work far better when I'm totally focused on one thing.
DeleteCool, heading over to check it out:)
ReplyDeleteHope you like it.
DeleteThat's a great list. You hit all the good ones.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan.
DeleteGreat post, Lynda. I bookmarked. Love the cute photo.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked the post. Thanks, Joylene.
DeleteBeen chipping away on my latest project and so far I've got 8 complete chapters totaling just a shade over 40K words.
ReplyDeleteI Are Writer!
That's so awesome!!
DeleteHi Lynda - love the owls ... amusing! Clever photo ... I now need to check the post ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hilary
DeleteI'm not a writer, I'm too lazy, but when I saw your photograph I said Aw. I linked this post to Awww Mondays. Thanks for visiting Comedy Plus.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Ha, thanks so much.
DeleteDitto on the real at first glance. Clever picture.
ReplyDeleteI felt a bit conspicuous taking the photo in the gift shop, but it was worth it.
DeleteI love this photo!! :)
ReplyDeleteHehehe, thanks, Terri
DeleteFantastic photo. I did the equivalent of a double take really see the owl. teehee
ReplyDeletehehehe. Thanks, Holly
DeleteHeaded over. =)
ReplyDeleteYay!
DeleteGetting started is always easy for me; it's staying the course that's the real challenge. Enjoyed your post on #IWSG.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, staying the course, especially when the manuscript is in total mess, is a difficult one.
DeleteLove that image! My writing has been up and down lately - 2,600 words one day, zero the next, and so on ...
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll finish my WIP eventually.
Gotta like the 2600, though! And yes you will finish it if you stick with it.
DeleteI haven't seen those little critters. Too cute! My writing is a hard taskmaster ATM, but I'm lovin' it.
ReplyDeleteYou'll find them in the gift shop ;)
DeleteOMG Those owls are the cutest. Maybe someone told them they were cute and they didn't think so, so it shocked them.
ReplyDeletehahaha you might be onto something there.
DeleteThat photo is so cute. Me? I'm writing on!
ReplyDeleteWrite on! Great to hear!
DeleteThat's one fantastic picture, Lynda. Love it. Those eyes. :) Oh my writing has been terrible of late. It's called fatigue mixed with a tad of writer's blog. Other than that, it's all good :))
ReplyDeleteBlue
Ah, fatigue... I know it well.
DeleteGood to hear things are mostly good, though.
Don't tell me you suffer from chronic fatigue too, Linda.
DeleteOnly when I'm stressed. Unfortunately there has been a lot of stress in my life lately.
