S.A. Larsen
Ellysian Press, due October 2017
Uncovering hidden secrets can sometimes kill you . . . or worse, steal your soul.
Anastasia Tate has a secret. She can feel the emotions of others through their life energy auras. Not a welcome gift for a teenager. Especially when a sinister presence begins stalking her.
Viktor Castle also has a secret. He’s tasked with protecting humanity yet cursed by an ancient evil to destroy it.
After Viktor saves Ana’s life, her abilities grow stronger. Drawn together, she senses Viktor has answers to lifelong questions. Only he shuns her at every turn, knowing he has saved her only to put her in more danger.
As Ana struggles with her attraction to Viktor, he tries everything to bury his unexpected feelings for her. But they must find a middle ground. For only together can they combat the dark forces threatening both their lives . . . and their souls.

On the weekend, I went into Brisbane CBD to take skyscraper type shots with my new camera. So what ends up being my favourite shot? The creeping shoots of a clump of violets. Typical.
Congrats to Sheri on her new cover. Love it. And that's awesome you got a new camera.
ReplyDeleteI'm truly loving the new camera
DeleteI'm so happy to see Sheri has a cover for this novel now - awesome! She's worked long and hard on this one, and I wish her great success when it releases. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteHi Lynda - Sheri's cover looks amazing and so appropriately designed. Wonderful you've a new camera ...but the twirling violet is a delight ... enjoy practising! Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteNot sure what I'm going to do with all the photos I've taken. It's a good dilemma.
DeleteSheri's cover is cool!
ReplyDeleteYour new camera takes great photos. Of course, it's mostly the photographer.
I don't know...the camera really does take awesome shots.
DeletePretty cover.
ReplyDeleteI tend to like the more intimate shots, too. I've taken some good scene shots, but it's when I move in closer that I find a little treasure like that shot there.
I'm totally the same. You should see my botanic gardens shots. Yum.
Deletecongrats to the author
ReplyDeleteLovely cover and an intriguing premise. I look forward to October. Congrats Sherri!
ReplyDeleteI agree, it sounds like a great story.
DeleteCongrats, Sherri!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo!
Thanks, Sara.
DeleteGreat cover indeed!
ReplyDeleteSometimes the photos we want aren't always what we like best in the end.
It can be quite serendipitous at times.
DeleteCongrats, beautiful cover.

Were those creeping shoots on the ledge of something really high up? I'm not a fan of heights, but photography is totally cool. Thank you for sharing my cover, Lynda!
ReplyDeleteNo, they weren't high up. They were in a planter box and I was on my knees to take the shot.
DeleteYou are most welcome. I'm more than happy to help.
Congrats to S.A.
ReplyDeleteYup, those photos do that! Every. Time.
It's funny, isn't it!
DeleteI love this cover; the story sounds pretty good too. Your new camera takes great pictures, but I'm sure you had something to do with that too.
ReplyDeleteAll I do is spot a potential shot, then attempt to get all the settings right on the camera. The camera does the rest.
DeleteThe cover is very nice. Wishing S.A. the best.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo, Lynda. That happens to me too - the simpler ones usually turn out best. Maybe it's because I don't try as hard or something. Who knows. lol Have a great week!
In my opinion, simple is always best when it comes to photography.
DeleteLove that cover! Wishing SA all the best wishes for the release!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Sheri on the new cover.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover! Good luck to Sheri on he release!
ReplyDeleteA new camera! How fun! I bet you had a lot of great shots!
