The Backworlds Book 2 is Out!

The sequel to The Backworlds is now available. Craze and his friends continue their adventures in Stopover at the Backworlds’ Edge. See what role chocolate plays in the galaxy this time.

The interstellar portal opens, bringing in a ship that should no longer exist. A battleship spoiling for a fight, yet the war with Earth ended two generations ago. The vessel drops off a Water-breather, a type of Backworlder thought to be extinct. She claims one of Craze’s friends is a traitor who summoned the enemy to Pardeep Station. A betrayal worse than his father’s, if Craze lives to worry about it.

    i was feeling pretty sick, the other night and i told my husband and daughter that i thought chocolate might make me feel better--they were astounded that i didn't realize how chocolate always made things better :)

    Chocolate should be the cure all medicine - or instead of breaking bread with our enemies and comrades, family and friends, we should break chocolate...everyone would be happy.

    I haven't read any science fiction books since I was a kid, but I've heard so many good things about Mary's book, I'm gonna have to give it a whirl. Who knows? Maybe I'm still a sci-fi fan, after all.

    I am in the middle of reading this work. No spoilers from me, but this is a great read! It follows her first book in the series, The Backworlds, without missing a step. And I love chocolate!
